Fellowship-trained in the U.S. and England, Dr. Belin is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Royal Australia & New Zealand College of Ophthalmology. He has published over 70 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, presented hundreds of papers at national and international society meetings, and received numerous awards for his expertise in the field over the years. He is involved in several clinical research studies, including one for AcrySof small-incision phakic lenses for cataracts and another for an implantable device to help patients who have had adverse reactions to corneal transplants.
Dr. Belin's specialties include refractive surgery (e.g. LASIK, PRK, Phakic IOL's, and CK) and medical and surgical diseases of the cornea (including corneal transplant and INTACS for keratoconus).
